Hanukkah Candle Lighting
Two blessings are said every night: one on the lighting and one on the miracles. Shehecheyanu is added on the first night only. Said each night of Hanukkah when lighting the menorah, after nightfall.
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ לְהַדְלִיק נֵר שֶׁל חֲנֻכָּה
barukh atah adonai eloheinu melekh ha'olam asher kideshanu bemitzvotav vetzivanu lehadlik ner shel khanukah
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has made us holy with His commandments and commanded us to light the Hanukkah lamp.
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם שֶׁעָשָׂה נִסִּים לַאֲבוֹתֵינוּ בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם בַּזְּמַן הַזֶּה
barukh atah adonai eloheinu melekh ha'olam she'asah nisim la'avoteinu bayamim hahem bazeman hazeh
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who performed miracles for our ancestors in those days, at this time.
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם שֶׁהֶחֱיָנוּ וְקִיְּמָנוּ וְהִגִּיעָנוּ לַזְּמַן הַזֶּה
barukh atah adonai eloheinu melekh ha'olam shehekheyanu vekiyemanu vehigi'anu lazeman hazeh
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has given us life, sustained us, and brought us to this time.
