What is Daf Yomi
Daf Yomi is a daily study schedule that takes learners through the entire Babylonian Talmud, one page (daf) at a time, finishing the cycle in about seven and a half years before starting again. It was proposed in 1923 by Rabbi Meir Shapiro and is now followed by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide on the same shared schedule.
The current cycle, the 14th, began on 5 January 2020. For the text itself, with translation, Sefaria keys its Talmud pages to the daily daf.
