Aleinu proclaims God as sovereign over all creation and Israel’s distinct worship. The first paragraph ends with the verse that the Lord alone is God in heaven and on earth. Said near the end of each of the three daily services.
aleinu leshabe'akh la'adon hakol latet gedulah leyotzer bereishit
It is upon us to praise the Master of all, to ascribe greatness to the Creator of the beginning.
shelo asanu kegoyei ha'aratzot velo samanu kemishpekhot ha'adamah
who has not made us like the nations of the lands, and has not placed us like the families of the earth,
shelo sam khelkeinu kahem vegoraleinu kekhol hamonam
who has not made our portion like theirs, nor our lot like all their crowds.
va'anakhnu kor'im umishtakhavim umodim lifnei melekh malkhei hamelakhim hakadosh barukh hu
We bow, bend, and give thanks before the King of kings of kings, the Holy One, blessed be He,
shehu noteh shamayim veyosed aretz umoshav yekaro bashamayim mima'al ushekhinat uzo begevahei meromim
who stretches out the heavens and founds the earth, whose seat of glory is in the heavens above and whose powerful Presence is in the highest heights.
hu eloheinu ein od emet malkenu efes zulato
He is our God, there is none else; true is our King, there is nothing besides Him.
kakatuv betorato veyadata hayom vehashevota el levavekha
As it is written in His Torah: Know this day and take it to heart
that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below; there is none else.
