This blessing is recited over the Shabbat lights. Many light first and then say the blessing, covering the eyes until it is finished. Said when lighting candles at the start of Shabbat, before sunset on Friday.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has made us holy with His commandments and commanded us to light the Shabbat lamp.
