נודניק
/NOOD-nik/
A pest, a nag, an annoyingly persistent or whiny person
Nudnik (נודניק, pronounced NOOD-nik) is a Yiddish-derived Hebrew word for a pest, nag, or persistently annoying person — someone who won't stop bothering you with requests, complaints, or questions. It comes from a Slavic root meaning tedium, plus the Yiddish "-nik" suffix that Hebrew borrowed extensively (as in "kibbutznik").
