baba Learn

A conversation is the start of the practice. Maya or David helps you respond; explanations make corrections useful; Fix Your Mistakes and My Cards bring the language back after the lesson.

  • Maya and David, with Hebrew grammatical address
  • Classic, role-play, Read and Talk, and Free Talk
  • English and transliteration help when you need it
  • Correction practice, saved phrases and sound drills

You want a Hebrew-focused app that connects talking, understanding a correction and practising it again.

Before you choosePrivate beta on iPhone and Android, with an English interface. AI conversation has usage limits. Sound feedback can make mistakes and does not assess word stress.

The Conversation Becomes Your Practice.

  1. 01

    Say it

Bring a situation from your day into a conversation.

The form, the word, the context.

Return to a correction and practise saying the phrase.

    Fix Your Mistakes
  4. 04

    My Cards

You need public access immediately, a different interface language or a formal course with a teacher.

The Other Apps Worth a Closer Look

  1. Israelingo

Hebrew conversation with corrections on demand

Its developer describes voice and text conversations, tutor personalities, translations, suggested replies and real-life role-plays. Corrections are requested from a message so the learner can choose when to stop and inspect one.

    Choose it if
You want a Hebrew-focused conversation partner with optional help inside the exchange.
    What to check
The public listing does not establish every sound-practice or review feature. Compare the actual correction and saved-practice workflow before deciding.
  2. Fluently

Spoken Hebrew with separate pronunciation drills

Fluently’s Hebrew page describes conversations in modern Hebrew, grammar and phrasing corrections, translated captions, session notes and separate sound-by-sound pronunciation practice.

    Choose it if
You already know some phrases and want to compare spoken conversation and a dedicated pronunciation mode.
    What to check
Its Hebrew FAQ says learners with no Hebrew may find the first conversations demanding. It does not offer a course for reading or writing the Hebrew alphabet.
  3. Talkpal

    Hebrew alongside other languages

Talkpal advertises Hebrew among its learning languages and offers AI voice and text practice on web and mobile. It is relevant if Hebrew is one of several languages you want to practise.

    Choose it if
You prefer one multilingual service and want both written and spoken practice.
    What to check
Check the exact activities and feedback available for Hebrew. A feature advertised across a multilingual product does not prove identical behavior in every language.
  4. Talkio AI

    Browser-based speaking practice

Talkio’s Hebrew page advertises conversations with an AI tutor, a pronunciation practice tool, speaking feedback and an interactive wordbook in a web application.

    Choose it if
You want to practise in a browser and value a wordbook alongside speaking.
    What to check
Try the Hebrew pronunciation and wordbook workflow itself. Published feature descriptions do not establish how detailed or reliable a particular correction will be.
  5. Langotalk

AI practice across a broader language library

Langotalk’s developer release notes confirm a Hebrew course. Its product describes tutor conversations and personalized language practice across multiple languages.

    Choose it if
You want to explore Hebrew within a multilingual AI learning app.
    What to check
Confirm the Hebrew course and voice activities in the current app. The published update confirms Hebrew availability, not parity with every feature in other courses.
  6. Memrise

Vocabulary and listening alongside AI practice

Memrise’s Hebrew page combines vocabulary lessons, native-speaker video content and advertised speaking practice with MemBot. It may suit a learner who wants content to learn before starting a conversation.

    Choose it if
You want vocabulary and listening material as well as a speaking activity.
    What to check
Check the Hebrew features available in your current account. Older community courses and generic product reviews may describe a different experience.
  7. LingoLooper

    Conversation in a virtual world

LingoLooper lists Hebrew and uses virtual characters and 3D environments for speaking practice. Its game format gives the conversation a setting to explore.

    Choose it if
A game-like environment makes you more likely to start a spoken conversation.
    What to check
Try how easily you can ask for help, inspect a correction and return to a useful phrase outside the scene.

What Earns a Place on This List

  • Hebrew you can speak

Hebrew must be a learning language. A translated website or a microphone icon does not establish a Hebrew conversation feature.

  • A correction you understand

Look for the corrected phrase and the reason it changed, including the speaker, listener and situation.

  • Something to practise next

A useful session leaves you with a phrase to retry, a mistake to revisit or a word you can use in another conversation.

  • Access that fits your routine

Check the current platform, beta access, interface language and usage allowance before choosing a plan.

All eight providers explicitly offer or advertise Hebrew learning. We used official product pages and developer listings, checked on 30 October 2026, following searches covering September and October 2026. We did not run a controlled accuracy comparison. The placement reflects our stated learning priorities.

Loora and other English-focused tutors belong in a different decision. The full Hebrew tutor directory covers 32 products, including apps where Hebrew is absent or still unconfirmed.

Try the same task

Bring one real situation to each tutor.

A café order, a family call or a work introduction gives you something concrete to compare.

  1. Say a sentence and answer a follow-up.
  2. Ask why a correction changed your words.
  3. Find help without losing the conversation.
  4. Return to one useful phrase afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best AI Hebrew tutor app?

Our first pick is baba Learn for modern Israeli Hebrew conversation connected to explained corrections and saved practice. It is in private beta, so access matters. Israelingo, Fluently and the other apps on this page offer different formats. Our ranking reflects those features and our stated criteria, not a measured accuracy benchmark.

Why is baba Learn first in this list?

We build baba Learn around a specific need: say something in Hebrew, understand a correction, try it again and keep useful phrases for later. That connected practice is why we recommend it first. We disclose our role as the publisher and describe the alternatives using their own published information.

Can I use baba Learn now?

Private beta on iPhone and Android. Public store launch is still ahead. Join the beta waitlist on the Baba Learn page.

Does an AI tutor replace a Hebrew teacher?

An AI tutor can provide extra conversation and practice. A qualified teacher can check subtle errors, assess progress and plan instruction. Choose a combination that fits what you need to learn.

Is Loora an AI Hebrew tutor?

Loora’s advertised learning offer is English. For Hebrew, compare products that explicitly offer Hebrew as a learning language. A Hebrew interface or translation feature alone does not prove Hebrew tutoring.

Which app has the most accurate Hebrew feedback?

The sources used here do not establish a measured winner. Test the same Hebrew exchange, ask for the reason behind a correction and check uncertain language with a teacher or fluent speaker. Pronunciation feedback also needs to be checked separately from transcription.

Are these apps free?

Access and paid allowances vary by product. Baba Learn starts with free Classic lessons; the app shows the allocation. Pro includes a monthly AI usage allowance and saved reviews remain free. Check each provider’s current terms before subscribing.
