Hebrew for Dating an Israeli Path

Hi, good morning, and how are you in a casual voice.

See whether you are starting from letters or from conversation.

Read names, texts, and a caption on a photo.

Nikud for the words you will look up tonight.

How Israelis spell Hebrew in Latin letters, and how this site does it.

Switch the keyboard and send a short Hebrew line.

Happy, tired, nervous, and “I miss you” at a basic level.

The everyday describing words that fill a conversation.

Hot/cold, fun/boring, early/late.

What, where, when, why: for making a plan.

I, you (m/f), we: get gender right in “you.”

I want, I am coming, I am eating.

What we did last weekend.

What we will do on Thursday.

Dishes you can suggest without switching to English.

Splitting a bill, a table for two, and “what do you recommend?”

Read specials written only in Hebrew.

Coffee orders and “just water.”

Casual words that textbooks skip; note which ones are rough.

How you speak to a partner, and how you greet their parents.

Now, later, tonight, this week.

Meet at 8, running late, another half hour.

The people at Friday dinner.

Neighborhoods, cafes, and “let’s walk.”

Beach, park, and trail words.

Headache, tired, “are you okay?”: keep it practical.

Compliments and “bring a jacket.”

Drill adjectives, pronouns, and time words.

A mixed check on greetings, food, and tense.

Names of holidays you may be invited to.
