צבעים
Colour adjectives agree with the noun: דֶּשֶׁא יָרֹק but חֻלְצָה יְרֻקָּה. Most everyday colours follow the קָטֹל pattern in the masculine.
22 wordsמספרים 1–10
One and two agree with the noun. From three to ten the number looks like the opposite gender: שְׁלוֹשָׁה סְפָרִים but שָׁלוֹשׁ בָּנוֹת.
24 wordsמספרים 11–100
Eleven to nineteen still mark gender. Tens from twenty to ninety do not change; in-between numbers add וְ plus a 1–9 form.
22 wordsמשפחה
Family words pair by gender: בֵּן against בַּת, אָח against אָחוֹת. Several plurals are irregular, notably אִשָּׁה → נָשִׁים.
25 wordsהגוף
Many body parts come in pairs and take the dual ending ־ַיִם: יָדַיִם, עֵינַיִם, רַגְלַיִם. Gender is lexical: יָד is feminine even when the owner is male.
24 wordsאוכל
Food gender is lexical: לֶחֶם is masculine, בֵּיצָה is feminine. A first order is אֲנִי רוֹצֶה / רוֹצָה plus the item.
25 wordsמשקאות
מַיִם is always plural in form: הַמַּיִם קָרִים. Ask for a drink with לִשְׁתּוֹת or with כּוֹס שֶׁל plus the liquid.
23 wordsפירות וירקות
Many fruit and vegetable names are masculine, with feminine staples such as עַגְבָנִיָּה and בָּנָנָה. Plurals are usually ־ִים or ־וֹת.
25 wordsבגדים
מִכְנָסַיִם, גַּרְבַּיִם and מִשְׁקָפַיִם are already dual or plural in everyday speech. Size is מִידָּה.
24 wordsמזג אוויר
Weather talk pairs a noun (גֶּשֶׁם, שֶׁמֶשׁ) with an adjective (חַם, מְעוּנָן). Degrees of temperature are מַעֲלוֹת.
24 wordsימים וחודשים
The Israeli work-week starts on יוֹם רִאשׁוֹן (Sunday). Everyday months are the international names; Hebrew-calendar month names show up around holidays.

Build a timeline with עַכְשָׁו, אַחַר כָּךְ and לִפְנֵי. Parts of the day (בֹּקֶר, צָהֳרַיִם, עֶרֶב, לַיְלָה) are nouns you can hang a clock time on.

The words that open a question, from מה to האם.
23 wordsבמסעדה
הַזְמָנָה covers both a reservation and the order you place. Ask for חֶשְׁבּוֹן when you want the bill; תֵּשֶׁר is a tip.
24 wordsהשעה
Ask מָה הַשָּׁעָה? Answer with הַשָּׁעָה plus the hour, then וְ for minutes past (שָׁלוֹשׁ וָחֵצִי). Minutes to the hour use פָּחוֹת or לְ.
24 wordsמקצועות
Job titles usually have a masculine base and a feminine in ־ָה or ־ֶת: רוֹפֵא / רוֹפְאָה, מוֹרֶה / מוֹרָה. The general word is מִקְצוֹעַ.
