Formal Hebrew correspondence has its own conventions that a literal translation misses. A letter typically opens with שלום רב (“great peace,” the formal equivalent of “Dear Sir or Madam”) and closes with בברכה (“with blessing,” used the way English uses “Best regards”), or the more official בכבוד רב (“with great respect”) for government or legal correspondence.

Israeli workplace culture also tends more direct than the English business-letter tradition, even in writing, so a formal English letter translated word for word into Hebrew can read as unnecessarily stiff. This translator adjusts the register rather than mapping each sentence literally.
