How Hebrew age works
A Hebrew age counts full years since birth the same way a Gregorian age does, but the birthday it turns over on is the Hebrew calendar date of birth, not the Gregorian one. Because the Hebrew calendar adds a leap month in some years, that Hebrew birthday lands on a different Gregorian date each year, sometimes a few days apart and sometimes closer to a month.
