Before 2020, Jews in the UAE lived quietly as expatriates. The Abraham Accords (September 2020) transformed Dubai into the most visible new Jewish community of the 21st century: a Jewish Community Center (JCC UAE), kosher certification and restaurants, holiday celebrations in public venues, and a synagogue - all growing with tourism and business migration from Israel, Europe, and the Americas.
Population estimates are soft (~500-1,500+), reflecting the expatriate churn. Presented without operational or security detail, Dubai is the canon's case study in 21st-century Jewish community formation.
