## Which Israeli offices send Hebrew letters, and what do they usually want?
Four senders account for much of the official mail that arrives in Hebrew. The description below is what a letter from each institution typically concerns, not a guarantee of what any specific letter says.

Official Hebrew also addresses you by gender. A letter to a man says אתה זכאי (ata zaka'i, "you are entitled"); to a woman it says את זכאית (at zaka'it).
